WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU NEED TO MAKE KETO PORRIDGE?
To make the base recipe for a creamy grain free paleo porridge, you are going to need:
- flaked unsweetened coconut
- hemp hearts
- coconut flour
- water
- canned full fat coconut milk
- ground cinnamon (optional but adds flavor)
- vanilla extract (optional but adds flavor)
- monk fruit sweetener (or your preferred low carb sweetener of choice – Swerve / erythritol / Stevia)
Optional toppings:
Homemade Strawberry Chia Jam + almond butter + peanut butter, pumpkin, tahini, sliced almonds + unsweetened shredded coconut + hemp seeds
HOW TO MAKE KETO PORRIDGE:
- Start by adding coconut, hemp seeds, water & milk in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to boil then simmer for 2 minutes until thickened. Stir in vanilla & cinnamon until combined. Serve with more milk and add toppings of your choice.
